OKAMA's purpose is to provide an organized and unified voice for ambulance services to intermediaries, legislators, and regulatory bodies, as well as develop and promote a code of ethics for ambulance services. AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS

According to Article IX of the OKAMA By Laws' (below)amendments to the By Laws may be made at the OKAMA Conference, with notice. Attached is a red-line copy of the proposed changes to the By-Laws which will be voted on at our Fall Conference ARTICLE IX – AMENDMENTS TO THE BYLAWS Bylaws may be adopted, amended or replaced at any annual or special meeting of the Active Members by a two-thirds [2/3] vote of the membership in attendance. The membership shall be notified in writing of the proposed action at least thirty [30] days in advance of the meeting.
