Our Mission
The Oklahoma Ambulance Association (OKAMA) is the statewide professional association representing ambulance services and EMS professionals across Oklahoma. Founded in 2000, OKAMA has served as the collective voice of the Oklahoma EMS community for over 25 years.
Our mission is to advance the quality of emergency medical services in Oklahoma through legislative advocacy, professional education, and community engagement. We work to ensure that every Oklahoman, regardless of where they live, has access to high-quality emergency medical care.
OKAMA represents a diverse membership including urban and rural ambulance services, hospital-based EMS systems, fire-based EMS, and individual EMS professionals from across the state.
Legislative Advocacy
We represent Oklahoma EMS at the state capitol, working with legislators and regulators to advance policies that support our members and the communities they serve.
Member Support
From small rural services to large urban systems, OKAMA supports ambulance agencies and EMS professionals of all sizes across the state.
Education & Training
We provide continuing education, professional development, and training resources to help Oklahoma EMS providers deliver the highest quality care.
